tonguester,
I would agree with you if there was some way to assure that the affirmation was optimally worded to get the most impact. However, the optimum wording to convey a concept is extremely difficult to measure and harder still to draft properly.
And over time, as the target subconscious mind shifts in it’s perceptions the message with the optimum impact could and probably will change.
So in my opinion. 10 repetitions of the optimum worded affirmations would beat 10 affirmations worded slightly differently….
but
10 affirmations worded slightly differently will have more impact than a sub-optimum affirmation repeated 10 times.Since we can not craft optimum affirmations, i think the focus on one set of words repeated more times is not always the best course of action.

06/24/2016 at 12:12 pmWell based on my experiences the last couple of days… the Subliminall.ny plugin in the link seems to do exactly as the nyquist prompt code referenced everywhere on this forum. Is easier to use since yo only have to put in the carrier frequency and it seems to process files faster.

06/23/2016 at 3:18 pmI ended up getting another Cannon as well as a Picture Frame for her home office since she works from home a lot. While I was waiting for the devices – I spent some time researching NyQuist scripting (http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=58548&sid=7cd08c5b8d5acedc45b32e9d0aedcb53)
So i started off loading some files using that plugin. I got a LOT of squeaky background on the Cannon. So i went back to the original Nyquist Prompt and not the plug in.
Still get squeaks – way too many squeaks – even if i tone down the volume and up the carrier frequency.
Since the Pug ins do not really limit the upper end of the spectrum like the prompt does (was showing 24kHz as upper end in spectrum analysis) – could i have blown out the Cannon when i first tried it out?

05/30/2016 at 5:47 pmEditor here uses less than and greater than as text markups – will not display stuff inside those characters – since the Pause command uses braces instead it seems to show those
I have found that in TextAloud you can tell it to pause after every line – makes editing the scripts easier and makes them more readable not to have all those {{Pause=0.5}} in there (Pauses are in seconds and silences are in milliseconds)
Tools>Text Processing>Pauses and Text Insertions
Add a new rule that pauses between paragraphs (on a new line character)I pause for a second between lines
at the end of a block of lines, I then add a {{Pause=2}} to get the pause up to 3 seconds between blocks05/30/2016 at 5:41 pmit stripped out my commands – strange – Wonder if it will strip out {Pause} commands since those are the alternative commands

05/29/2016 at 6:35 amThanks for the quick reply Fizbin,
1. I sort of understand that is what that last set of filters is supposed to do. But I do not follow how filtering everything not int the 15-24 kHz range does that.
2. OK, we should decode, play and make sure that the file says what we think it should say – how exactly do we decode it?
3. I think my earlier issues with Nyquist (when I was not checking to use legacy syntax) was blocking my understanding of volume levels – now that the frequency shift is working (I Think – LOL) it seems to be OK
