I created two custom scripts and used TextAloud and Audacity to create the mp3 files per the instructions on the site. I’ve found that if I turn the volume up on either of these files I can hear the voice clearly. This doesn’t happen with the Amy Converter file or other files I’ve downloaded. What am I missing on my custom files? I’ve setup speakers and an mp3 player by the bed and I want to turn the volume up enough to make sure my wife can receive the subliminals, but I certainly don’t want her to hear the actual words in normal speech.
    Thanks,
    J

Okay let me see if I can help here…

On TextAloud, you should set the/ System Volume to: 31

Yes this will lower the volume of the audio but still be picked up by your girl’s subconscious mind. For best results just make sure she’s in the same room where the file is playing :)

Great. Thanks for the tip. I’ve got speakers placed just below her pillow under the headboard. I’m hoping the pillow won’t obstruct the content of the scripts so I wanted to make sure I can get the volume up as high as I can.

Well, I recreated the text file using the system volume set at 31, then Audacity with the -44.2 setting. I can still hear the voice when I turn up the volume. Any other ideas?
    Thanks,

Ah, are you using the (Re sample and Nyquist Prompt) method ?

These steps come after you Amplify….

    5. You will need to resample the audio, go to Tracks menu then select Resample and type in
    192000

    6. Go to the effects menu then select Nyquist Prompt and then put in the following code:
    (highpass8
    (lowpass8
    (mult
    (lowpass8 (highpass8 s 300) 7000)
    (hzosc 45000)
    (hzosc 59500))
    24000)
    15000)

I have not been doing the resample. I thought you only needed to do that if the rate was not already at 44100.

    Ah 😎

If you follow those last two steps your subliminal will be ready to go…

That does seem to have done the trick. Thanks for the fast responses today.

    Trainer,
Following up on this post. I’ve noticed that when playing the silent converter on the MP3 player with speakers near the bed, I hear a distinct, low level hiss when I have the volume turned all the way up. Not enough to hear unless I put my ear directly to the speaker, but you can tell that something is playing. I don’t get the same hiss from my custom files. I just recreated them using an amplification of -38 and that doesn’t seem to have changed anything. I want to make sure that my custom files are actually producing a sound that my wife will receive while sleeping. Any thoughts on this?
    Thanks,
    J

    Wanderer,
Try checking here for a discussion about volume and sound:

    https://dreamgirlsgt.com/forum/prime-general-discussions/important-way-to-know-what-volume-to-play-your-subliminals-at/

Basically, you hear a hiss because the frequency of the subliminal is on the higher range of your hearing. Using the method above when making your own subliminals at specific amps, you will know exactly how high or low to play it.

What the amps step does is lower the db of the resulting file from TextAloud. Regular speaking is about 65db. When you input -38db in that step, you are decreasing the audio to 65-38 or 27 db, which at regular volume is lower than a whisper. You can try experimenting with different dbs to see what you prefer. I used to use -17 but at the highest volume, that was like shouting. I like -30 now because at the highest volume, it is a little bit louder than a normal person speaking.

The main thing to know is that a hiss means the subliminal is playing correctly, but it could be too high of a volume depending on how close the player is to your wife.

What I do now is play my control file and see how well I can hear the person talking. Then I switch to my subliminals keeping it at the same volume. It’s been working well for me.
