As many here may have guessed, I haven’t posted regularly in quite some time, because, frankly…. I just haven’t been seeing results.

These last six+ months I have really reigned in bad behaviors, like long scripts, or changing scripts too often. I have only tried two, short scripts, for approximately three months each, and honestly, have seen few, if any results, and nothing certainly worth posting about.

In an effort to just try something different, I have been speaking to an old friend, Qwerty as you guys know him, and we have been toying with the idea of blending the two techniques…

Like most of us here, my wife would never try sexual hypnosis… She is too collected and reticent about trying things to improve our sex life, which she has always seen as being just fine (in its barely existing….) As such, the much regarded science of pure, regular hypnosis is probably off the table for now.

That said… what are your thoughts on a well recorded, well regarded hypnotic induction file, which happened to be recorded in the traditional Nyquist way?

Do you suppose the brain would hear this, and respond in the normal ways (first relaxing… then further relaxing…. becoming pliant, accepting a message)?

What if a “rain file” were used? Would the soothing surface level sound enhance the process? Make it less successful?

I’ll probably “take one for the team” and make my wife the guinea pig, but would love some collected thoughts before I proceed.

My biggest concern would be how long a decent non-“state-breaking” induction takes. We might have an edge by going directly to the subconscious via subliminals, but there is still a lot that needs to happen to bring on a proper trance. I suspect some customization will be needed rather than using a standard script.

That said, I tend to have a short induction like introduction on my files. :)

In fact, it strikes me that the Amy converter (in the previous generation, at least) was written with hypnotic language as well.

Perhaps such a script would best be recorded in your own voice? Something along the same lines I’ve been considering using for scripts, is some of the techniques from a book I read recently on conversational hypnosis. To do that I would necessarily use a human voice to get the right inflection. For me, it would work in well with what I’m trying to accomplish, since I’m essentially trying to turn my wife into a willing sex slave ( seems like an oxymoron I know). Anyway, the point is, that the concept of being able to influence people’s subconscious, through ordinary conversation might be the way want to go. Just my two cents.

    FB,
I’m curious are you still using sledgehammers or only one voice. One voice to me usually works best with a few seconds between affirmations.
