So princess will be playing the files 3 ways. One with ipod headphones that go directly in the ear, one with Beats Headphones, and one by playing it with the laptop on her lap or next to her bed. Whats a good volume to play for these 3 variations of input? and do you know which of these methods will be better in general or when she’s just starting out and is getting headaches?

    Thanks in advance.

I’ll just talk about the silents because I don’t use the rain ones. Generally, it’s best to put it at the loudest volume. This will ensure that she hears the script since it’s played at such a low frequency. If you put it too low, there’s a possibility she won’t hear anything making the files useless.

Listening directly into the ear with headphones is the best way to listen. I think for the laptop you definitely should have it at the highest volume so you know she’s hearing. Some of trainer’s files are a bit loud where she will hear a squeaking. In these instances, I’d say it’s ok to put it a little lower because for sure she can hear the script.

As for the headaches, I don’t think you should look into much into that. The headaches could actually be due to her subconscious resisting or just not liking what she’s hearing. Thus, she gets irritated and annoyed. Eventually, she would get used to the message and the headaches should stop. I think it’s because her subconscious gives in and starts agreeing with what’s being said.

The advice in the other thread I made related to this subject actually suggested that loud volume was actually the cause of the problem as the subliminals on this site stimulate the hairs in the inner ear.

Basically I want to keep it effective but not tear these hairs.

Without any other frames of reference, I would say start at a volume that is comfortable for other music or for an audio book. For a bit more precision, use the rain version of the file (if available) as a baseline for volume.

Id go by what’s most comfortable for the girl, there is no right or wrong volume long as she can listen to it.
