So in the process of making individual voices in a sledgehammer, i realized that perhaps one could improve success by subtly modifying the script for each few set of voices, ie have 3 saying one, 2 another, and 1 another variation. The variations i had in mind were different pet names, my name, and husband. Not knowing what she refers to me in her head, i feel this could perhaps lead to quicker acceptance of the messages should one of the variations be closer to her actual thoughts.
What y’all think?
11/17/2013 at 5:22 amPS i’m planning on a modified arousal script based on Qwerty’s amazingly successful one, really the next issue i’m tackling so it seems appropriate.
11/17/2013 at 12:12 pmGenerally, you can approach the characters in a sledgehammer as:
First Person (I, me, my)
Second Person (You, your)
Third Person (Name, her)
You could use different forms of Third person for nicknames and such. Although any could be recorded in the primary voice, it could be better to use different voices that speak at different speeds for instances of Second and Third person.
That said, I’m not a big sledge fan (except when watching Gallagher). They tend to be muddled, and I’m not sure the primary message gets through any better than with a clean, single voice at a time file. I do, however, occasionally mix voices in an assertion/answer format.
11/17/2013 at 7:24 pmI think it’s best just to simply ask her, what she refers to you in her head so you know how she thinks. Also, I’ve found using her language when she talks is good. If you two refer to sex in a different name, go with that. I use that term in my customs because it’s how she thinks. Also, if she says vagina vs pussy, or dick vs penis, go with that word.
I agree with Fiz about sledgehammers. If you listen to the audio of how Trainer makes his sledgehammer, the voices all talk over each other and only in certain instances, a voice is clearly heard. You’re asking the subconscious to work through all that sound and decipher the message. I think the reason His Happiness and trainer’s other sledgehammers work well, is because he only has about 20 affirmations and he puts a 5 second pause every few lines, so affirmations are clearly heard throughout.
It’s something to think about, since you’re not that knowledgeable at making subliminals. Also, all other subliminal websites all sell single voiced subliminals vs sledgehammers. This is one of the few websites that sells something like a sledgehammer. The key is to have the voice clearly heard, in a slow clear voice, and read slowly like reading to a child. This will allow quicker acceptance by the subconscious. I’ve had success keeping to that format.
11/20/2013 at 2:40 amThanks for a very insightful post tap, still drafting out some ideas, far far away from completing my own personal custom, just playing around with things for the moment. Feeling out the voices i have to play around with. Sure it’s purely coincidence but on day 2 of the arousal sub my wife timidly (always shy about sex) said she wanted “to get laid” this evening.
11/20/2013 at 2:44 amThis is pure speculation, but in my mind it would make sense if you had a jumble of voices at slightly different speeds, it would coax the subconcious to listen more attentively, all the while key words and phrases would stick out in their own time, granted i have no idea if this is true or not, just a thought i figure i’d put out there, more than one way to skin a cat and all. As we are all experimental minds here, i’m more than happy to test and observe something slightly out of the box.
11/20/2013 at 3:09 amWell, Trainer’s sledges are definitely recorded with voice tracks at different speeds and pitches. And again, I’ve not claimed that they don’t work, only expressed doubt whether they really work any better.
01/02/2014 at 12:28 pmSo lets say you are using three or 4 different voices instead of 7, each at a different speed/pitch, if 2 of those voices are saying I willl (being the feminine voices) and the other 2 voices say You will (masculine) would that make a difference?
By using 4 voices you dont get a lot of confusion, each message can be heard. My question is this – how much of a difference does YOU vs I seem to make in a Sledgehammer?
I am going to redo my SH with 4 voices instead of 7, but I wanted to see if anyone knows if it makes a difference before doing so. As Abe Lincoln once said – Expereince is the best teacher – as long as it is someone elses experience!
01/02/2014 at 1:51 pmall of trainers sledgehammers have alternating I and You statements. Some like qwerty would make a chorus of voices with 3rd person statements as well. The idea behind sledgehammers is a peer pressure like effect, so you would want to have both I and You statements and maybe even third person.
