    Here’s the URL…

    http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2014/10/07/353292408/why-saying-is-believing-the-science-of-self-talk

It caught my interest as it was talking about residual self image, first vs. third person in behavior modification, etc. From what I took away from it, they seemed to be saying reinforcing with the subject referring to themselves in third person had a higher impact.

Here’s another story that was linked in the first one… Seems somewhat relevant as well. Note: You need to actually read it all the way through, as they’re talking primarily about physical, but they do also talk about mental imagery practice, which falls into our area of interest.

Well, there is definitely Science! behind a bunch of this… It’s good when we can build off the research done by professionals…

It does make me think I had it right with my iterative approach

    *third person slavename* is X
    I am X

    you are X
    *third person slavename* is X

It’ll make for a longer file, but it SHOULD be fairly effective….

    Thoughts?
