Headaches are a real problem for princess and the reason I haven’t put her on a daily regime until finals are over (she can’t afford them right now.

Did anyone else have this problem? Right now I’m training her with the rain files. Mostly the rain converter and I guess I’ll run amy converter after just in-case the problem is her mind resisting. Thoughts?

I don’t know man… My wife and I both had severe head-aches for the first night during which we ever used rain-files, but within 24hrs they subsided and have never returned. I’m sure different individuals have different succeptibility though. Have you tried lowering the volume during periods of really sustained listening, or gently (during a less important time for her, obviously) tried pushing through to see if its just an adjustment phase?

I have not tried pushing through. I think as soon as it’s a more convenient time I’ll do that, princess will be willing but I will have to baby her and look after her till the headaches are gone.

My wife has been getting body and neck aches and says she can’t sleep well. I wonder if it’s because of the mp3s. I don’t know how else to get over that. I use the silents though.

Over all, I would say watch the volume of the files. These work by directly stimulating the crystalline “hairs” in the inner ear, rather than indirectly through the eardrum and bone collection. You don’t want to shatter them or break them loose, which could be what is causing the headache symptom…

Thanks for all the help guys. That’s really useful info to have. Now I’ll be prepared when I move forward.

    You all are awesome.
