For the past few hours I’ve been watching the live broadcast of FCC’s meeting concerning Internet and it’s future.
In Net Neutrality Victory, F.C.C. Classifies Broadband Internet Service as a Public Utility
The new rules, approved 3 to 2 along party lines, are intended to ensure that no content is blocked and that the Internet is not divided into pay-to-play fast lanes for Internet and media companies that can afford it and slow lanes for everyone else.
As I said I’m not into politics in my last post but my only interests is an open internet.
But the fight is far from over as we need to secure these new set of rules. What I mean by securing the Open Internet is by making sure, Obama doesn’t get his hands on it
