This is something I noticed in alot of trainers files, not just the sledgehammer ones. He alternates between saying the same affirmation in 1st and then in 2nd person(You)
Then through one of the links that Tap posted, another subliminal author said that doing so was more effective, because some people respond better to second person statements.
Has this been the case for anyone? or have most of you just stuck with 1st person exclusively.
12/19/2013 at 5:17 amI do all in the 1st person. If you wife thinks in “you” terms than it would be helpful. You can simply ask your wife how she talks to herself in her mind.
12/19/2013 at 4:47 pmWhen doing a sledge I often do a script in first, a script in second and a script in third person. The idea behind this is it is like a crowded party she has internal thoughts those thoughts are echoed by those taking to her and those in the room are talking about the same ideas about her amongst them selves.
12/19/2013 at 5:28 pmIt’s like peer pressure when someone tries to talk you into doing something…
12/19/2013 at 7:19 pmya i see those the most in Trainers sledgehammers. Qwerty, when you do your sledgehammers what speeds do you use for the different voices?Do the voice speeds make any difference or just that they are all talking at slightly different speeds?
12/19/2013 at 10:22 pmEldrin,
Currently I fiddle more with pitch then speed. I find a speed that works for the script then I adjust the pitch to get the different voices.12/20/2013 at 2:51 amSo you keep your voices on the same speed and just change the pitch to achieve different sounding voices?
For instance, I use amy at – 6 speed. I’ve noticed as well significant changes in the pitch also change the length and thus talking speed slightly of the voice.
Do you still use 1 for first, 2 for second person, and 3+ for 3rd person?
When I tried making a sledge, I just made 3 versions of the same script, with a 5 second pause every 2-3 statements. Had a couple different voices speak the 2nd person script, and 3 different voices speak the third person, and 1 speaking the first person, with its amplify set above the rest. I think I got this from one of your older posts actually.
12/20/2013 at 2:52 amI’ve always been on the fence about sledges, and I giuess I just need to make a decent one and leave it in place for thirty days. Since one of its primary methods is peer pressure, It may work well for my particular wife, as she gives into peer pressure easily.
